If any of my friends ask me anything about creating content, this is what I copy-paste:
“Never, ever, ever sound like a PowerPoint.
As soon as the audience senses it, the way they receive your content shifts.
It’s usually much better to just sound conversational.
Don’t force it.
Just be you.
As Chris Anderson, founder of TED says that almost all the best TED speakers don’t use slides at all. They gather all the points they want to cover in a talk and then talk about them how they would talk to a friend.
After all, the central idea of creating content is to bring the audience along on a remarkable creative journey.”
…and hit send.
