Do you know how the Newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst made his media empire based on newspapers…

Well here’s an excerpt from his biography:

“Decades before synergy became a corporate cliché, Hearst put the concept into practice.”

Yup, the driving force was his publishing mindset.

He made the same content that he covered in his newspapers, work as well in his radio/TV shows, as well as making movies out of it too.

He was a master publisher i.e. he knew the value of his content and squeezed the juice out of them until the very end.

That’s what you would want to do:

Never throwing away any of the meaty parts as waste.

Though, this doesn’t mean you must cling to one of your articles and milk it till eternity.

But totally opposite.

Get all the juice out of every one of your pieces by plugging them at as many places as possible.

This plug can be both subtle or explicit.

The goal is to tailor it enough that it goes well with your current article.
